Day 1: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park with Hiking

  • 6:00 AM: Pickup from your accommodation.
  • 6:30 AM: Depart for Kibale Forest, taking the scenic Mityana-Mubende route.
  • After approximately 5 hours, arrive at Kibale Forest National Park and head to Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve for lunch.
  • Post-lunch, embark on a hike adventure to enjoy breathtaking views from the top.
  • Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, preparing for the exciting activities ahead.

  • Drive to the starting point for chimpanzee tracking, arriving in time for the 7:30 AM briefing about the chimpanzees’ behavior and safety guidelines.
  • Spend approximately one hour with the chimpanzees, capturing memorable moments and observing their daily activities.
  • After the tracking experience, return to the briefing point to meet your driver or guide for the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
